Scott and Michelle Arendt founded CMW, a leading machine and fabrication shop, in 1993, initially operating from a horse barn. By 1998, they upgraded to a 2,000-square-foot metal building and acquired their first CNC machine. Their commitment to growth led to a move in 2001 to a 10,000-square-foot facility in an industrial park in Fenton, Missouri. As CMW expanded, they strategically separated their machine and fabrication operations, with each housed in a dedicated 10,000-square-foot building.

The company’s rapid growth continued, and in 2014, both the machine and fabrication shops were consolidated into a state-of-the-art 45,000-square-foot facility. Today, CMW operates its machine shop around the clock, five days a week, reflecting their dedication to excellence.
